Acceptance of Terms
By ticking the “I Agree to the Terms and Conditions” box, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions. We encourage you to reach out with any questions before making your donation or pledge.
Pledge Commitments
Payment Terms: We kindly ask that pledges be paid in full within six (6) months from the date of the pledge unless you have made alternative arrangements with MS Ireland. This period can be extended for charity partnerships of up to a year, but please understand that for some urgent items, this may not be possible. If the full amount is not received within the agreed period, the pledged item may be offered back to the community for others to support.
Allocation of Funds: In the event that the full amount of your pledge is not raised, MS Ireland may allocate the funds raised toward another item of similar value. Rest assured, you will be kept informed of any such changes and involved in the decision-making process.
Use of Funds
MS Ireland is committed to using the funds raised solely for the purchase of the pledged item. Should the pledged item no longer be required or become unavailable, we will communicate with you to explore alternative options, including the possibility of funding a different item.
Donor Communication
MS Ireland values transparency and will keep you informed about the status of your pledge or donation and the use of your contributed funds. This includes letting you know about any changes regarding the availability or need for the pledged item.
Refunds, Cancellations, and Donation Commitments
Flexibility for Donors: We understand that situations can change. If your circumstances alter after making a pledge, we are here to work with you to find a suitable solution. This might involve placing the pledged item back up for pledge or redirecting your contributions toward another meaningful item.
Donation Commitments: Once your donation is processed, it is considered final and non-refundable. However, MS Ireland recognises that extraordinary circumstances may arise. In such cases, we will review requests for refunds on a case-by-case basis and work with you to determine the best course of action. Please note that once the pledged/ donated item has been purchased, no refunds can be given.
Pledge Form Requirement: After you make a pledge, MS Ireland will reach out with a pledge form that includes additional details for you to complete. Please note that until this form is returned, MS Ireland may need to place the item back up for pledge to ensure timely progress on our initiatives.
Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. MS Ireland will handle all donor information in accordance with relevant data protection laws. Your details will only be used for processing your pledge or donation and keeping you informed about it.
Amendments
MS Ireland may update these terms and conditions as needed. If significant changes are made, we will notify you promptly to ensure that you remain informed and comfortable with your pledge or donation.
